Weddings are one of my favourite things to photograph - I absolutely love celebrating with my couples while documenting their day. The moments, the details and of course all the love. It’s going to be one of the best days of your life! Whether you’re newly engaged or you’ve been waiting a while, I can promise you, it’s going to be a day that you’ll remember forever. I will capture your day as it unfolds, the bits that you remember as well as the parts that you were too busy to see.

I know it can be super confusing choosing what package to go
with, so let’s meet for a coffee or chat over zoom. When you book the hours you choose are not set in stone.

Wedding Packages

I have put together 3 wedding packages that seem to suit most people. By far the most popular package is the Full Day package, this package basically covers everything from getting ready to dancing, I have put 8-9 hours as sometimes 8 hours is enough whereas sometimes there may have been some delays during the day or the dance floor is wild and my work is not finished, whatever happens on the day I will be flexible and available. I know how stressful organising weddings can be but I want to assure you that you won’t need to worry about the photography. I can help you plan the timeline, and I won’t miss any important things that happen throughout the day.

When my husband and I were looking for a wedding photographer we wanted someone who had an eye for natural and candid shots. We wanted to capture the simple beauty of our wedding location on our very unique piece of land, our Turangaas well as creating memories of our wedding surrounded by our beautiful blended family and friends. Kirsten met us on-site at our land a few weeks before the wedding because of its unique location. She fell in love with it and won our hearts with her excitement and enthusiasm. On the day, Kirsten was professional to a tee and worked so hard running across the paddock from one end to the other to get those perfect shots as we drive through the river and up onto our land. We love the photos from our wedding day - a broad range of photos including beautiful portraits over several settings and fun and 'real' moments which perfectly captures the whole day. Kirsten was adaptive and accommodating to our on the fly requests, even the tricky shots that required a lot of set-up and testing. She was great at directing us and our guests for planned shots but also amazing at capturing candid moments throughout the day. She was professional and easy to deal with in discussing what we wanted ahead of the day and guided us further to consider the key moments we wanted to be captured. She presented the finished photos well to us, including sorting them in order which we know many other photographers don't go to that effort, and produced a highlights slideshow which was lovely to share with our guests after. FAQ

how long until we get our photos?

Within a couple of days of your wedding, I’ll send you a sneak peek, usually 1 or 2 photos, then within 2 weeks, I’ll send you a handful more, usually about 20. Then the finally delivery will be approx. 6 - 8 weeks after your wedding day. Delivery is made via a beautiful online gallery where you can easily favourite, download and share your images as well as order prints.

DO you offer engagement sessions?

I do and this is a great opportunity for us to meet ahead of the day, to get rid of any ‘having our photo taken nerves’. We’ll walk and talk and basically have a great time whilst getting to know each other at the same time as taking some cool photos. I highly recommend it.

Do you travel?

Yes! I absolutely love to travel around New Zealand for Weddings. Travel is included for all weddings within Auckland, then for weddings outside of Auckland travel costs may apply. Get in touch for a quote today!

do you offer albums or prints?

I love to print photos and I include complimentary prints with my top packages. I believe that photos as precious as those from your wedding day should be showcased and not kept on a USB so I like to offer a beautiful NZ made Flushmount album. This comes with my top package but can be added to any package.

how do we book?

I work on a first-in, first-served basis - once the contract is signed and the booking fee is paid, I am all yours for your chosen date. The first step → Fill out this form

why should we book you?

From the moment we meet we will be friends I’m sure! I can help you find your vendors, help you plan your wedding day timeline and generally de-stress the whole planning process (if you need it). Then on your day as I will be by your side for almost the whole day, I’ll have your back, I’ll communicate with the vendors, I’ll get on with your family and mingle with your friends I’ll just generally make sure things run smoothly. Most important of all I’ll take the most amazing photos of you both looking your absolute happiest and finest on one of the best days of your life. Your wedding photos are absolutely something you will not need to worry about.

What is your style?

My photography style is very much documentary, less posed more natural, I love people and I love photographing emotional people and on a wedding day there is plenty of that so I just let it flow and get all the shots. No cheesy smiles or forced poses here, but I do offer some light direction during the portrait part f the day.

Do you edit the photos?

I look at every single photo then edit the best ones, I love this part as much as taking the actual photos. I might also fix a blemish or two if say they weren’t there yesterday and couldn’t be covered with makeup, this would be for the couple getting married. Any extra photoshop retouching can be done but there would be an additional fee.

How many photos will we get?

I usually take loads (maybe too many), and depending on which package you choose, you will get most of them, the only ones I don’t deliver are the blurred ones or when your eyes are closed or if I’ve caught you mid expression, no one wants to see those.
