Michelle & Cameron ~ Pah Homestead Wedding // Kirsten Summers // Auckland wedding photographer
Cameron and Michelle planned to marry at The Pah Homestead in Auckland, just across the road from Michelle's family home. This worked perfectly with the plans of walking to the venue behind a bagpiper. Having both been married before, Cameron told me that the wedding would be a small, modest affair. What transpired was over 100 guests, so not quite small after all. With six children between them from previous marriages, the couple opted to have their family photos taken the day before, freeing up more time for them to spend with their guests on the actual day.

The couple shared pre-wedding drinks at home with their closest family and friends. The weather was perfect.

With neighbours watching on and all their friends and family following in procession, we made our way to the venue.

The Pah Homestead’s Italianate-inspired architecture provided a stunning backdrop on this beautiful summer’s day. Cameron, Michelle, and their six children joined their guests as they made their entrance following the bagpiper.

Clear to see the just-married vibes were high. After the ceremony, the newlyweds and their guests enjoyed drinks and nibbles in the beautifully sculpted gardens of The Pah Homestead.

With so many charming nooks and crannies throughout The Pah Homestead, it was easy to find perfect spots indoors and outdoors to steal the bride and groom away for some photos.

The evening continued with a full-blown traditional Scottish Ceilidh, which got everyone dancing. and was so much fun.
