When Alison saw a post from a local celebrant looking for a couple who might want to get married immediately, she turned to Paris and said, “Shall we?”
They had been wanting to tie the knot for some time, but life with their young son, who wasn’t yet one, had kept them busy. So they jumped at the opportunity.
Once they’d committed, Alison reached out to me, and I was so excited to be part of it.

We discussed a few options and decided on Jack’s Point, as the couple were keen for somewhere with epic views of both the mountains and the lake. The long grass at Jack’s Point creates a beautiful backdrop, along with the striking mountain views in every direction.
Having photos taken can feel a bit daunting, but these two weren’t fazed one bit. They were clearly in love, and Alison’s laugh was infectious. The whole session was fun and relaxed. At times, it felt like I wasn’t even there.
And then of course, there was their young son. They were so proud to have him there, witnessing his mum and dad getting married. He won’t, of course, remember being there, but these are the kinds of photos that will be cherished for years to come.
